LISA MALLETT, BIO

Lisa Mallett BA, CPC, PCC
Leadership & Team Effectiveness Consultant | Executive Coach

Lisa combines over 20 years of public sector senior management experience with 15 years of professional coaching, to challenge and support individuals and organizations in transforming their performance and results. Since 2002, she has focused her practitioner skills on executive leadership development, change management and team building.

Her varied management experience includes human resources development and labour relations, program development and implementation, performance measurement and evaluation, as well as social, economic and financial policy development and analysis. Her business acumen, sound judgment, and ability to work with leaders in the highest positions of authority and public trust, led to advising the British Columbia Provincial Cabinet on the health care portfolio (then a $10 billion annual expenditure) from 1999 to 2001. This sparked her interest and passion for affecting both individual and large systems change.

Since 2002, her coaching and seminar clients have included municipal, provincial and federal government departments, law enforcement, health authorities, emergency health services, and private sector companies ranging from the transportation and safety industry, nuclear energy, construction, and restaurant chains. Her clients consistently report experiencing increased flexibility and responsiveness to change, improved performance and productivity, as well as more satisfying working relationships.

Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Victoria; her coaching certification is from the top-rated Academy for Coach Training (ACT) in Edmonds, WA (now “inviteCHANGE”). She is a trained facilitator, workshop presenter, conference speaker, and has been a monthly newspaper business coaching columnist for Vancouver Island Newsgroup publications. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and holds the ICF’s internationally recognized coaching credential of PCC (Professional Certified Coach).

Lisa is a qualified practitioner in a variety of assessment resources including the globally-renowned Leadership Circle Profile / 360 assessment.

Lisa is resident to the west coast of British Columbia.
